The state of Illinois is looking to register volunteers just in case of a huge catastrophe or public health care emergency. Volunteers could enroll in a state system labeled as Illinois Helps. The Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council, Illinois Department of Public Health and Chicago Department of Public Health have released a fresh public service announcement to boost recognition of the regimen. Authorities say they want either medical related in addition to non-medical volunteers.
A legal firm declared that it’s commencing a class-action lawsuit which would comprise stakeholders of Chemed Corporation. The objection is a result of news which surfaced Nov. 16 of a whistleblower lawsuit alleging that Chemed cheated Medicare. Chemed’s stock fell $6.87 per share, or 11 percent, to close at $50.65 per share that day. San Diego law firm, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, stated it manually filed the litigation on behalf of an institutional speculator in U.S. District Court in Cincinnati.
Emory University’s Goizueta Business School recently generously donated studio-equipped digicams and a Sony digital video switcher priced at about $30,thousand for the Central Educational Center’s Broadcast Video program. “CEC has a very strong broadcast video program, and this donation will hopefully be very helpful to these students,” said Alan Pogue, Director of Media Services at the Goizueta Business School.
